‘Actually,… I do like my face.’

This was my response to a dear friend who acknowledged she incorrectly phrased a statement. What she meant to say was, “Do you not like having photographs taken of yourself?” This all happening while she took casual photos of me for my social media outlets, per my request.

I went on to explain that I’d rather the focus remain on the wine. Granted, there’s a story behind every act, may it involve making wine or creating a work of art. What I love and respect is knowing what I’m looking at, what I’m supposed to see and want, not being blindsided by bling, chatter or visuals that don’t lead back to the path of the subject…Wine.

Characterized as a Noble Grape, Cabernet Sauvignon deserves the respect and honest attention without any adornment. I believe this has been delivered.
