I’m convinced that bending isn’t a bad thing; even conforming can stretch our cozy mental muscles, and compromising definitely has its upsides! What makes them both a necessity, oddly enough, is the need to move forward.
So, you see, I’ve felt in the past it should be personal when choosing a particular varietal, or so I tried to convince myself. However, choices need to benefit not just one, but many.
With that being said, our choice to make a Rosé was made for others. The choice to use Tannat was for me, balanced.
The consensus… “Well balanced between smooth and tannic, light and bold. Notes of plum, citrus and aromatic.”
