Syrah - The Dotted Line 2022

We sign our names on the dotted line. With that action, comes responsibilities and expectations from others. Granted, there may be moments when leaning on one another may be needed or it’s offered, however you still have your responsibilities…hence, The Dotted Line.

Kimberly and Luigi, the owners of the winery where I create my wines, have been the ones I lean on from time to time. This year’s Syrah came later in the game for me, and this was their baby through and through. Of course, we all pitched in; at harvest, the crush, punch-downs, press, etc… So, when I approached the two about purchasing a barrel’s worth of juice, their response: “Sure, just sign your name on The Dotted Line…it’s now your full responsibility.”

The satisfaction and end result after signing my Name on The Dotted Line has been met with a superb Syrah! Fruit forward, mouthfeel with well-managed tannins and acidity, blackberries and vanilla, smooth.
